Savoy and Nice were not Genoese. Piedmont ceded them to France in exchange of French help in defeating the Austrians ti gain Lombardy and Veneto

You are right - They were part of the Kingdom of Sardinia (which was ruled by the House of Savoy), but never part of Genoa. I've corrected it in the article.
