This takes me back in a rather unpleasant nostalgic way to my 20s in the UK. I had been relieved when the wall fell, but now I worry about the children and their families again.
I was just 7 when the Wall fell, so I was never properly conscious of that ongoing threat. Having said that, observing how things are have changed in the last 10 - 15 years, it's difficult not to feel somehow worried about the future generations :/.
